Join us for an exciting programme, as we combine with Halifax Minster's choir to perform Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.  This is one of the most popular modern choral works - which featured in to a memorable advert for Old Spice aftershave. It is based on 24 poems from a medieval collection of secular songs "to be sung together with instruments and magical images". Our performance will be accompanied by two pianos and a large percussion section.

We will also be performing a brand new arrangement of Guy Turners' Folk Song Sequence, in the presence of the composer. The sequence comprises four songs - one from each of the nations of the British Isles.

The programme also features works by Vaughan Williams and Finzi.

This is likely to be a popular concert and early booking is advised.
