Carl Orff Carmina Burana
This is the main work in the concert and we will be joined by the choir of Halifax Minster. We sing the Gran Coro parts; Halifax will sing Coro Piccolo.
We will be using the Schott edition of the vocal score. This is available from various places incluidng Presto – see Orff, C: Carmina Burana | Presto Music. Debra Pearlman has alerted me to Carmina Burana Vocal Score by Carl Orff | Waterstones which is considerably cheaper than Presto!
We will be performing Carmina Burana accompanied by two pianos and a large percussion section. You can listen to a performance of this version on YouTube at Carmina Burana - for two pianos and percussion - Carl Orff by the Salt Lake Symphonic Choir.

Guy Turner A Folk Song Sequence
This sequence of four songs was first performed in 2022. The vocal score is published by the composer - see Guy Turner | Composer Of Choral Music and Comic Songs. Currently it is not available for purchase. We will be hiring all of Guy's copies and they will not be available until the second or third rehearsal of term - they are being used at a performance in Leeds on 12 September. See the entry in the list of Local Choral Events for more details of this concert.
