Since the passing of Malcolm Spencer, who founded Wetherby Choral Society in 1974, we have been without a President.
We are delighted to announce, following a unanimous vote at our recent Annual General Meeting, that John Dunford is our new President.
John will need little introduction to many of you, as he was our Music Director from 1993 - 2025.
You can read all about John's contribution to the Society in the history he wrote on the occasion of our 50th anniversary - see WCS history to 2024.pdf. John continues to provide guidance and support to WCS, and we are delighted that he will be singing with us in our concert on 21 November.
