This is our first concert under the baton of new Music Director, Charlie Murray. He is looking forward enthusiastically to his debut, and we are sure the audience will give him a warm welcome. Charlie is also Directoir of Choral Music at Halifax Minster. You may have seen him live on BBC1 last Christmas Day conducting the Christmas Communium service.

Eleonore Cockerham (soprano)Touring across the globe for four years, Eleonore performed over 100 concerts a year with the renowned vocal ensemble VOCES8. Now as a freelance singer, Eleonore enjoys varied solo opportunities, and working with different vocal groups across the UK and the USA. She is also an experienced recording artist featuring on several albums, and in the season 4 finale of the Netflix series, 'The Crown'
Toby Ward (tenor)read music at King’s College, Cambridge alongside a choral scholarship in King’s College Choir under Sir Stephen Cleobury, with whom he toured internationally and performed on BBC radio and television with major solos on the annual Carols from King’s programme. He is currently Tenor Associate Artist of Tenebrae Choir.
William Kyle (bass)Since graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2022, William's singing career has taken him all around Europe, most notably to the Rossini Opera Festival and the Salzburg Festival. In 2026, he will be joining English Touring Opera as a member of their ensemble. He is also a member of Kantos Chamber Choir and is particularly proud to have been a soloist in Messiah in collaboration with Manchester Camerata and in Brahms’ Requiem at Manchester Cathedral.
