Rehearsals for the new season have now started. Have you ever thought about joining a choir? Now is an excellent time to come along and try us out.
You will be joining a friendly bunch of over 100 singers. We welcome everyone regardless of their background. We want everyone to experience the joy of singing some of the masterpieces of the choral tradition. Charlie Murray, our new Music Director, and William Campell, our charismatic accompanist, make up our young music team. They will lead us through rehearsals of Haydn's Creation - one of the most popular oratorios, full of great tunes. Rehearsals culminate in a performance with professional soloists and orchestra in front of a packed audience on Saturday 22 November. We then move on to preparing for our traditional performance of Handel's Messiah, just before Christmas.
Why not come along at 7.15pm this coming Monday to St James Church Wetherby LS22 6LP? You will be very welcome!
